Shadow Art

During the course of my bachelor, one of the assignments was to create an interactive installation for children. The underlying goal was to create an experience that would be a fun and educational one. Our take on this assignment was to show children that they could be anything if they use their imagination. To translate this into an interactive installation, we used their “shadow” and invited them to draw anything they like as an addition to their shadow, to evolve themselves into something out of the ordinary. Even though not all children understood the concept of the installation, they surely enjoyed it.
